EXT. SMALL STREAM IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE - DAY
A single drop of water hits the stream turning the water into alcohol (or blood).
FADE IN:
INT. DIMLY LIT KITCHEN ROOM - NIGHT
Flash back. A man reaches for his drink, then discovers he has a blood covered knife in his hand.
FLASH:
EXT. FOREST COVERED BY TREES, WITH A DRIED UP POND SEPARATING THE FOREST FROM A CLIFF - DAY
Sam appears, He wakes up and sits upright, resting his head on his hand.
SAM? (O.S.)
(Laugh repetitively)
Finally your up! I was wondering...
Sam gets up and turns around to see another copy of himself.
SAM
What... where am I? Wh, wh, who?
SAM?
Am I? Where are WE? You tell me. Me on the other hand, i'm clearly a better version of you
Sam recalls a vision and looks down to see his wrists cut. The cuts fade away.
SAM
Di, di, Did I...
SAM?
What kill yourself? A better question is why? Was because you were lonely; nobody loved you, it that it? No wait, was it for attention or was it...
SAM
Shut up!
Sam? disappear and reappears in front of Sam.

SAM?
You know what, your right! This is a very serious matter, so tell me why did yo do it? TELL ME!
SAM
I can't... I couldn't!
FLASH:
INT. DIMLY LIT KITCHEN ROOM - NIGHT
Continuation from the flash back. The man looks at the knife in his hand, then discovers a blood trail and starts to follow it.
FLASH:
EXT. OPEN FIELD - MORNING
Sam appears in the middle of emptiness. He tries to leave but he is unable to leave.
SAM
Let me leave!
Sam appears he tries to leave but is unable to leave.
Time lapse of Sam whilst he re-thinks his prior conversion.
SAM
I didn't do it... I didn't kill myself!
FLASH:
INT. DIMLY LIT ROOM - NIGHT
Continuation of flashback. The man follow blood trail until he discovers a body lying on the floor covered in blood, with both wrists cut open. The man drops the knife in shock.
FADE TO:
EXT. TREES FORMED TO CREATE PASSAGE (LIKE A TUNNEL), ONE SIDE DISPLAYS SAMS TERRIBLE LIFE (ENTRANCE TO THE LIVING) AND THE OTHER SIDE IS A BRIGHT LIGHT (AFTER LIFE)
Sam appears in the middle, he looks around.

SAM? (O.S.)
(whilst clapping)
Well done, you did it.
SAM
Did what?
SAM?
Found the truth, discover you inner self and whatever. Anyways all I want to know is what are you going to choose?
SAM
Choose?
SAM?
Really, you're really that brain dead?
Sam? Disappears and reappears next to Sam. He points towards one of the entrances.
SAM?
See that, that the gateway to your shitty life. The other one is the gateway to what you deserve... Good luck.
Sam? Fades away. Sam stares at the entrance to the living but decides to go to the afterlife. Sam walks off to the gate that leads to the afterlife. As Sam walks to the afterlife, Sam? Reappears and enters the gate to the living at the same time Sam enters the gate to the afterlife.
BRIGHT LIGHT:
INT. DIMLY LIT ROOM - NIGHT
A Man drops a blood covered knife as he looks at the lifeless body eyes open.
FADE TO BLACK:
EXT. SMALL STEAM IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE - DAY
A hand falls into shot. A drop blood falls from the hand into the stream.

Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)

In the second scene of my production the main character tackles his own DID in order to discover more about himself and what has happened. DID is a complex psychological condition which can be caused by server trauma. A person with DID is described by having two or more personalities/identities. These identities are often completely different from each other, with completely different traits, including: different age, race, speech, posture etc... But what I found most interesting about DID is that the identities often have distinct memory variation and different interpretations of the same memories.  The main character fits this 'specification' for DID. As he has witness a server trauma; his own murder, both identities in this scene have completely different traits and personality.
